Your Future Self

Updated: Aug 12, 2025

In 1913, Emmeline Pankhurst stood in front of a restless crowd and said, "We are here not because we are law-breakers; we are here in our efforts to become law-makers."

If you’re not across her story, Emmeline led the suffragette movement in Britain. She’s one of the reasons women can vote today.

By the time she gave that speech, she’d been arrested more than once.

Gone on hunger strikes, was force-fed in prison and still, she stood there sounding like someone who had already won.

There were no guarantees.

Just a decision about the future, she was willing to live in.

And she started speaking from there.

We’ve all got a version of ourselves like that.

Future You.

The one who’s already made the decision you’re dancing around right now.

They know how it turned out. They know how you feel afterwards.

The question is, are you quiet enough to hear them?

That’s what we’re exploring in Monday Meditation.

Bring a decision, big or small and we’ll let Future You weigh in.

If you're clear about your direction or have created a work vision with me before. You left clear, energised, and thinking, I can take it from here.

Others have built their own vision without me.

Either way, if you’ve slowed down, drifted off track, or let life pile up on top of what matters... now's the time to chose again!

Every month you don’t move forward eats away at your momentum, your confidence, and the opportunities you could be saying yes to right now.
