When you're immersed in your business, it's interesting how much of your thinking becomes shaped by the people, conversations and expectations around you. Sometimes, a conversation with someone outside that circle opens up a very different perspective.​  

 

Perhaps you're considering a new business direction, navigating competing interests, exploring an opportunity or trying to make sense of a situation where the facts aren't telling the whole story. That's often why people come to me.

​I'm Silvana La Pegna. For more than three decades, I've brought together professional coaching, corporate experience, human behaviour and decades of expertise in intuitive perception to help business leaders, consultants and advisors explore challenges, opportunities and decisions.

Understanding How We Make Decisions

I became particularly interested in how our experiences, expectations and perspectives influence what we hear, how we interpret information and how we respond.  My career in corporate communications and public relations gave me a front-row seat to all of this.  I've always found it fascinating how much can be said in a meeting, and how much more becomes apparent in the conversations that follow it.

​

I also worked closely with senior leaders, preparing them for major announcements, media appearances and interviews for CEO, Managing Director and Board positions. These experiences sharpened my ability to understand how individuals think, communicate and respond, and to help them express themselves with clarity, confidence and impact.

​

My fascination with human behaviour led me to complete a Bachelor Of Arts in Communication (Public Communication) at the University of Technology Sydney,

study Transformational Coaching with Dr Eve Agee, complete a Diploma of Professional Coaching through the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), and earn my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential with the International Coaching Federation.​

I've worked with people across 19 industries, including leaders from Optus,

NAB, Telstra, Suncorp, CBRE, Deloitte Sydney, North Queensland Cowboys

and CELA, alongside founders of businesses ranging from skincare and

Michelin-starred restaurants to independent consulting and advisory practices, as well as artists and philanthropists.

Working across such diverse industries has given me a breadth of commercial understanding and insight into the different forces, personalities and priorities that shape business.​  Some influences are immediately apparent. Others become clearer when we explore the situation from different perspectives.

The Less Conventional Side of My Expertise

​

Intuition is something we all possess. I've deliberately and diligently developed mine into a professional capability through decades of specialist training, practice and experience in complex professional situations.

My studies have included specialised areas of intuitive perception, such as remote viewing with Harold McCoy, a former US Army military intelligence officer. I've applied these abilities throughout my corporate career and spent eight years working alongside a medical doctor and complementary health professionals in a medical and wellbeing centre.

More than three decades of practising Transcendental Meditation (TM), together with my studies of consciousness and human potential, have deepened my understanding of awareness and how we perceive and interpret information.
