How do you sit for Vedic Meditation?

You sit comfortably in a chair with your back supported and eyes closed.
The palms of your hands rest upon each other on your lap.

Can I sit cross legged on the floor if I prefer?

Yes, if you’re able to keep your back straight and upright throughout for 20 minutes, if not use a chair otherwise you won't be comfortable and will find it difficult to meditate as instructed.
Can I continue practicing this meditation technique while travelling and on airplanes?

Yes, this practice can be done anywhere. When you attend a course, I explain how to
prepare yourself for meditating in those environments.
I can’t empty my mind of thoughts, can I still learn to meditate?

Yes. Thoughts are a welcomed in Vedic Mediation we do not try and empty our mind of thoughts. When you attend a course, you will understand how to work with your thoughts.
Do I need a quiet space to practice Vedic Meditation?

No, once you learn the technique you will discover noise is no barrier to meditating.
Why can I only learn Vedic Meditation in person from a teacher?

The in person instruction exists to preserve the oral tradition and to provide your personal mantra to you privately.
